Inspired By: Tubby Todd Marketing Director Adrianna Bonilla

We are constantly inspired by the amazing mamas in our Tubby Todd community. In our Inspired by series we profile some of these incredible women and give you a little glimpse into their lives as they discuss family, careers, style and more!

Today we’re inspired by a member of our very own Tubby Todd team, our Marketing Director Adrianna Bonilla! As a soon-to-be mama of two, Adrianna has been balancing work, being a mama to her sweet 3-year-old boy AND a high risk pregnancy over the past few months—we did our best to find out her secret below but seriously—we’re still not quite sure how she does it! Adrianna uses her marketing expertise to share the Tubby Todd love with so many families (like yours!) and our TT team truly wouldn’t be the same without her. Read our full interview (and get inspired!) below.

Remind yourself that YOU ARE CAPABLE.”

Q: Tell us a little bit about your Marketing Director role here at Tubby Todd!

A: I’m focused on how to share Tubby Todd with all the families—through social media, email, advertising, giveaways, product education, events and more! I feel very fortunate to be a part of a small, creative team that makes big ideas happen. We’re always laughing and definitely know how to have a good time 🙂

Q: What has it been like balancing a career, family and high risk pregnancy? Are you tired yet? 😉

A: I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a challenge! There is always something left on the list, always one more thing I wish I could have done…actively practicing compassion for myself in this season of life has been vital. Having a high-risk pregnancy after loss is so much more than just the physical challenges, it brings a range and depth of emotions that I couldn’t have imagined prior to this experience. The most intense emotion to overcome has been fear—fear of the unknown, of another loss, of becoming attached to an outcome I had no control over. The distraction of work and a lively 3 year old has actually kept me sane 🙂

Q: What has been your strategy for staying focused at work? At home?

A: Committing to each day (not the week, month or 9 months!) has been the best way for me to stay focused and connected. Every day that passed brought challenges and victories for my mama self and my work self. Taking it down to a day at a time allowed me to tap into a routine, tackle the immediate needs and know there was a finish line.

Q: What advice would you give to mamas who are looking to continue to work while building their family?

A: Identify your priorities, set your boundaries and ask for support—at work and at home. There will inevitably be days where it all feels like too much and that is okay, just try to take a deep breath and remind yourself that YOU ARE CAPABLE.

Q: What is your favorite Tubby Todd product? (You can’t say all of them!)

A: For Baby – All Over Ointment (duh!)
For Me – Dream Cream and Baby Massage Oil…I use both of these daily!

Q: What were your baby shower must-haves the second time around?

A: This time around I was focused on quality over quantity. A versatile stroller, high-end infant car seat and organic lounger were definitely my top 3. I also wanted a few fresh basics like swaddles, a wrap and play gym. Last but certainly not least clean diapers and skincare!!

  1. Hi! You mentioned that you use dream cream and baby massage oil for yourself daily. Im interested in how you use these (especially the oil). Just generally like body lotion?

    1. Of course! Dream Cream is my go to body butter, I always have it in my purse to use on my hands, elbows, legs etc. My favorite use for the baby massage oil is on my face. It has a really light natural scent and is 100% organic. I layer it under my tinted SPF moisturizer for extra moisture and a nice glow 🙂 – Adrianna
